The EnviroLink Network

Call it a computer network. Or call it a grassroots community.
You'll be correct in both cases when it comes to the EnviroLink
Network. This nonprofit organization has grown from a mailing list
of 20 student activists to become an online clearinghouse of
environmental information. From its Web site, you'll be able to
study environmental issues such as alternative farming systems,
smog watches, biodiversity, toxic substances, nuclear power, ozone
depletion, water pollution, and more. You'll also be able to
explore a host of EnviroLink projects, browse a calendar of
upcoming environmental and activist events, check out the
environmental e-mail list archives, and connect to the Internet
Green Marketplace. Don't miss the Pointers of the Week link, which
will lead you to some of the week's most interesting environmental
hot spots on the Net.
