Maintained by a veterinarian/professor at St. Louis' Washington
University, NetVet and the the Electronic Zoo features a
compendium of animal related information available on the Net as
well as a wealth of information from the University's veterinary
school. From pigs and primates to marine mammals and sheep goats,
if it's an animal that might be domesticated, you'll find
information about it here. For example, you can find links to the
Great Lakes Ferret Association, Mammalian Models for Biochemical
Research, the Progressive Farmer Online, and the World Wide
Cowshet, to name just a few. The site also has a What's New page,
which makes it easier to keep up with all the new resources that
come online every month. There's much more as well, so if you're
interested in animals and veterinary medicine you'll find it worth
while to spend some time here.
