The Washington Academy of Sciences, founded in 1898 by Alexander
Graham Bell, Samuel Langley, and others, is preparing its
Centennial Birthday. The site describes the events associated with
the Centennial (including links to the Centennial Illuminated
Alphabet), activities of the Junior Academy (including the
Hovercraft Contest), and links to other Academies as well as
Science Policy sites.
