***ANNOUNCING THE 1996 SEASON OF EXCAVATIONS AT TEL HAZOR,
ISRAEL*** JUNE 23 - AUGUST 2, 1996 The Selz Foundation Hazor
Excavations in Memory of Yigael Yadin invites interested
volunteers to apply to participate in the 1996 Season of
Excavations. Directed by Amnon Ben-Tor of the Hebrew University in
Jerusalem, this sixth season of renewed excavations will focus on
Israelite and Canaanite strata in the upper city. A Canaanite high
place and a large palace are currently under investigation, as
well as Israelite private and administrative buildings. Impressive
