We are happy to announce that the University of California -
Berkeley has established a website for the Environmental Health
Sciences Center. The Environmental Health Sciences Center at the
University of California, Berkeley, brings together 15 leading
scientists from the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, the
Department of Statistics, the School of Public Health, and the
Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory to interact in a synergistic,
multidisciplinary approach to attack problems at the interface of
basic science and public health. Their focus is the area of DNA
damage, its consequences for environment and health, and
understanding the causes, mechanisms, and prevention of this
