The Magan Boat

The Magan Boat looks at spiritual issues, drawing upon Sumerian
sources to help understand our current theological situation. We
think the origins of Western religion/spirituality lie in the
mists of Sumer. Somewhere along the way, the original ideas of
Sumer have been misconstrued or deliberately twisted to create a
situation in which religion is used to control rather than to
connect with the Divine. The site includes chapters from the book,
_The Star of JA_, which examines many of our religious notions in
the framework of Theological Alchemy. This framework uses the
