Hi - I'm posting to let folks know about a new Web site that may
be of interest. Clearwater Hudson River Sloop
http://www.clearwater.org/ Clearwater conducts environmental
education, advocacy programs and celebrations to protect the
Hudson River, its tributaries and related bodies of water, and to
create awareness of the estuary4s complex relationship with the
coastal zone. The centerpiece of Clearwater4s public education
program is the 106-foot wooden sailing sloop Clearwater, designed
after the Dutch sailing sloops of the 18th and 19th centuries. In
1966, Pete Seeger had the idea that by learning to care for one
boat and one river, the public could come to care for all our
threatened…
