Hugh The Comet was written for the beginning pianist. It can be
taught as a rote piece to those in the first year of study or as a
normal reading piece for those in the second or third year. It is
designed to sound impressive while being relatively easy to learn
and play. The Comet wasn't particularly written with Comet
Hyakutake in mind--but it surely seemed like a fitting time to
