Atmospheric & Ozone Depletion Research Group

The InfraRed & Aeronomy Group (IRG) is an atmospheric research
group at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada. Our
research interests include atmospheric remote sensing, the
airglow, and ozone depletion. We are presently involved in the
Swedish-led Odin satellite project. The Odin satellite project
will address a number of important atmospheric and environmental
questions. In particular the matter of ozone depletion, and its
extent, in the northern hemisphere and the global distribution and
variability of a number of important atmospheric constituents will
be addressed. Odin is scheduled for launch in late 1997 with a
