patch for Harvest: configuring cached with Autonomous Systems

This is an announce of a patch for the Harvest Cache software.
Explanations and patch can be found on
http://humanus.ibp.fr/patch/ It will allow you to insert AS
numbers in any cache_host_domain configuration tag. Generally, a
common configuration is to prefer retrieving objects directly when
they are in the same Top Level Domain as yours, because they are
on servers with good connectivity to your cache. Asking neighbors
would be a loss of time. But for objects NOT in your Top Level
Domain, your cache must ask the neighbors to improve the
performances. The problem is that sometimes an object maintained
on a server in the same Top Level Domain as yours can stand in
another Provider than…
