Energiezukunft Bayern: Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energies

Bayernwerk AG, Munich, Germany, in consent with it's holding
company VIAG AG, Munich, Germany, has decided to carry through a
100 million Deutschmark (70 million US-$) program during the years
of 1996 to 2000 to support energy efficiency and renewable
energies in the State of Bavaria. The program package titled
ENERGIEZUKUNFT BAYERN starts in the beginning of 1996 and consists
of four parts concerning energy efficiency, heat pumps / solar
collectors, photovoltaics / hydrogen and biomass. The 100 million
Deutschmark budget for the next five years groups about evenly to
