Fraud Against U.S. Government

has a law called the False Claims Act which was created by Abe
Lincoln to stop fraud against the Union Army during the American
Civil War. Today, a stronger version of the same law protects
people from being fired and rewards them for their information if
funds are recovered to the Treasury. This law is sometimes
referred to as "the Lincoln Law" or in the legal profession as
