The American Physical Society

The American Physical Society (APS), an organization of more than
41,000 physicists worldwide, is dedicated to the advancement and
diffusion of knowledge in the field of physics. To this end, the
APS Web site offers information about publications, physics
societies, physics news, careers, and educational resources. The
education section includes special sections on making physics
knowledge available to minorities and encouraging them to pursue
careers in physics.
