InterNIC

The InterNICgopher is a high-level menu linking all three
InterNICpartners’ gophers into a seamless gopher interface. The
InterNIC is a project of the National Science Foundation (NSF),
and is comprised of three partners each of which provides
different services: General Atomics (CERFNet) provides information
services; AT&T provides directory and database services, and
Network Solutions, Inc. (NSI) provides registration services. The
InterNIC Information Services part of this trio is known as the
InfoSource, a specialized gopher/database of networking and
