GlobalChat is real time chat software that can be used from the
Web. Unlike many other Web-based chat services, it is not a Web
page; rather, it is a stand-alone program that works with the
browser to give instantaneous live chat. This package combines the
best aspects of IRC and the Web; users can create bookmarks for
favorite chat channels and automatically move to them. The
software for GlobalChat is free and can be downloaded from this
