nickname. Unlike many other Web-based chat services, CIS offers
two user modes: Talk and Listen. In talk mode, users are able to
converse with others in the same chat room, and information is
updated every minute. In listen mode, there is no window for
message entry, but incoming messages appear automatically in real
time. Users can switch between the two modes whenever they choose.
