Augustana College Library

The Augustana College Library Projects is designed to investigate
how the Internet can be used to share college library resources
with a local K-12 school system. The site features digitized
historic photographs, images, and texts from the Augustana College
Special Collections that have been made available electronically
to partner schools in their local community of Roch Island,
Illinois, and the Internet community. The electronic text is
divided into two sections, the elementary section and the high
school section. The material includes the Civil War, Native
Americans, photography, and local history and life at the turn of
the century.
