Who or what is Nipper and why is there a Web site devoted to him?
Funny you should ask . . . it seems there's a Web site for just
about everything these days, so why not one for this famous but
oft-unidentified lovable little dog? Nipper, you see, is better
known as the "RCA Dog." Recognized primarily as an advertising
trademark in the United States, Nipper was a real dog who lived at
the turn of the century and (while listening to a gramophone)
became the subject of Francis Barraud's famous painting
