women. A federation of 79 labor unions representing nearly 13.6
million workers, the AFL-CIO now brings its resources to the
online community. At its Web site, the organization presents it
policy statements, houses archives of its press releases, lists
national boycotts that have been endorsed by the AFL-CIO, explains
its "Stand-UP" campaign (a crusade for better jobs, wages, and
worker protection), and provides links to other union
organizations and labor-related sites on the Internet.
