The Gumbo Shop

The Gumbo Shop is one of the oldest and most well-known
restaurants in New Orleans. Their web page contains information
about the history of the building which the Gumbo Shop is in, a
menu and a wine list, and a map for getting to the Gumbo Shop once
you get to New Orleans. The site contains a history of Creole
cooking, and a history of gumbo and jambalaya. There is also a
recipe book online, where you can get two different gumbo recipes,
as well as a jambalaya and a bread pudding recipe. Most of the
information on the site is also available in French, Spanish and
Japanese.
