This economics database contains application software for
empirical research in economics and the social sciences. Databases
with national and international macroeconomic data are installed
and online-accessible. Resources available here include the
Austrian Macro Economic Database; over 15 different data sets from
the OECD; International Financial Statistics; Direction of Trade
and Balance of Payments from the International Monetary Fund;
World Bank data and tables; Austrian Foreign Trade Statistics from
the Austrian Central Statistical Office; and the Eastern Europe
Macroeconomic Database from the Vienna Institute for Comparative
Economic Studies. There is an additional section on tips and
tricks, but you'll need to brush up on your German.
