Based in Japan but published in both Japanese and English,
Teleparc is a bicultural digital magazine that features cultural
and entertainment information related to Japan, particularly the
small-but-growing Japanse Internet scene. Users are invited to
become members in this cyber-community (there's no charge at the
moment), and can begin by posting a message on the Bulletin Board
to start a chat session. Members can take advantage of all sorts
of activities from the virtual art exhibit to the Tokyo nightclub
recommendations to the HyperHitchHiker guide to Cyber-America.
There is even a hotline for help, if needed. In addition, users
can access the Tokyo Junction Database for a direct connection to
information from Tokyo, Japan, or the world.
