Zagarell's Archaeology Page

Detailing two studies conducted a decade apart, this Web site
surveys the research begun in 1984 of communities in South India's
Nilgiri Mountains and studies begun in 1974 involving settlement
patterns in Iran's Bakhtiari Mountains. The Nilgiri page features
rock art and paintings, with some images enhanced for details. The
site also contains images of megalithic graves and closeups of
stones there. The Bakhtiari page offers images and descriptions of
Iron Age pottery, jewelry, and other objects. Both sites have a
separate map section detailing the entire country, region, and
archaeological site. The Bakhtiari site features an interactive
map that provides detailed information and images of regions in
Iran.
