Rare Map Collection at the Hargrett Library

This page includes a library of rare maps maintained by the
University of Georgia's Hargrett Library. There are hundreds of
images here, spanning 500 years of history from the 16th through
early 20th century. The New World section is the smallest, but it
currently has seven images, from Charta cosmographia in 1544 to
Nova orbis tabula in 1688. Colonial America is well represented
with 65 maps in the library ranging from Florida et regioness
vicina (1625) to North America, as divided among the European
powers (1774).
