Data Server Introduction

Oceanography is sometimes called a science of sciences because it
includes so many other specialties within its purview.
Oceanographers must be conversant in a range of different types of
data. The Data Server Introduction site is intended as a search
aid to researchers in their hunt for data, both at general and
highly detailed levels. Several different search options are
available and can be customized to the user's particular needs.
For the first-time user, it is helpful to read through the
