Maryland Geological Survey

This page has sections on coastal and estuarine geology,
hydrogeology, environmental geology, mineral resources, as well as
a monthly highlights area. Each section has descriptions of
current projects, some including maps. A section called What's
Going on at the Survey also has links to current research such as
studies of shoreline change, resource assessment of Atlantic
coastal areas, and sediment trace metal content. These reports are
brief, synopsis-type articles, but do include at least one image.
There is also a list of links to geology resources at other sites.
