Maternal & Child Health Network

The purpose of this gopher is to make information available about
systems of care for children, especially children with special
health-care needs. The gopher contains reviews of relevant books,
child health data and child health policy links, links to
information about issues confronting adolescents with disabilities
or special needs, and a plethora of other links. Some of the
gopher menus are very specific in topic orientation, such as
Dissemination Avenues, which contains information on Multicultural
Teaching Strategies, and the menus that contain information about
federal, state and local organizations that impact parenting and
children's issues. There is also a Technology Issues Menu, which
has links to information about Distance Learning, Internet-related
issues, and telemedicine.
