Waterloo Fractal Compression Page ================================= The Waterloo-Montreal-Verona Fractal Research Initiative located at the University of Waterloo, Canada, is dedicated to helping researchers in fractal image compression. Its collaborative effort is designed to further the theoretical understanding of fractal mathematics and its application to signal processing. Participating in this site are various applied mathematicians, computer programmers, and graduate students from all three universities. This site provides information to a repository of fractal compression software, papers, and a repository of results in the Waterloo BragZone. Users can access usage statistics in daily and hourly transmission and total transfers. There are also links to related sites.
