Image Processing for Teaching Program (IPT)

As desktop-publishing technology becomes more commonplace in the
modern classroom, teachers will be expected to instruct students
on its proper and appropriate uses. Enter Image Processing for
Teaching. Because image processing will be at the core of future
science courses, IPT is preparing to teach instructors about the
benefits of high-technology in the classroom. Students in math and
physics classes will learn by visualizing complex models which, in
the past, were only available from super-computer centers. IPT is
located at the University of Arizona and also publishes an online
newsletter which contains more information regarding the program.
