Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Education Programs

The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Education Programs are
featured on this Web site. A growing mission for this University
of California sponsored laboratory is to apply its resources and
expertise to enhance the teaching of science, mathematics, and
technology both locally and nationwide. It includes teacher
programs and student programs designed to facilitate exploration,
discovery, and understanding of the relevance of science and
technology. The Lab has several outreach projects aimed at K-12
schools, such as students mentoring with laboratory technical
staff, and presentations that seek to motivate and encourage
students' interest in science. Still under construction.
