Save The Beaches Home Page

You're never too young to become an environmentalist! Students
from around the world are demonstrating their power to make
positive changes by joining together in a project called Save the
Beaches. As part of this project, students visit local beaches,
then collect and analyze the litter they find there. The data is
shared with participating schools and now with you, via the World
Wide Web. As a visitor to this site, you can take a look at the
students' data collection sheets, review their results and data
interpretations, and see if you agree with their suggestions. Save
the Beaches is being touted as an international project for global
awareness. Teachers who are interested in having their classes
join this project are encouraged to contact the site's maintainer.
