Coastal Ocean Modeling at the USGS

In the days when computers that could render three-dimensional
models of weather and oceanographic data required a super-cooling
facility, few people believed that such imaging capabilities would
soon be in the hands of the average person sitting at home. Such,
however, is now the case. Scientists at the U.S. Geological Survey
have created the Coastal Ocean Modeling site, offering high
quality, full-screen video imagery that shows complex modeling of
some of the most important waterways in the nation. You will need
a viewer that supports the MPEG video standard.
