National Museum of the American Indian

The National Museum of the American Indian, one of the Smithsonian
Museums, celebrates native peoples of the Americas. It is
dedicated to the protection, support, development, and
perpetuation of native cultures and communities. This Web site
covers the cultures of the American Indian from past to the
present through innovative exhibits, publications, public
programming, and research. This site includes excerpts from
exhibitions voicing a Native American view on life and culture,
and the celebration of contemporary Native American creativity.
There are also links to other Internet resources for Native
American Studies and general information about the museum.
