FCC (Federal Communications Commission)

The FCC is an independent federal regulatory agency that reports
directly to Congress. It regulates communications over radio,
television, wire, satellite, and cable. Citizens can read up on
the current service standards governing cable, common carriers,
and mass media. In addition, buyers can find out when the latest
license auctions will take place. Each of the media are covered by
a separate bureau: Cable, Wireless, Common Carrier, Mass Media,
and others. The pages for each each bureau contain FAQs, news
releases, consumer alerts, and other topic of interests
