K-12 Resources (Web 66)

Be sure to look out the windows as you travel down this stretch of
Information Highway all around you you'll see K-12 schools
participating in cyberspace activities. Web66 is part of a project
at the College of Education & Human Development at the University
of Minnesota. It is designed to assist teachers and educators with
getting the Internet into school and classroom curricula. Web66
includes information about the Internet and the Web, listings of
new and interesting Web resources for educators, and an excellent
collection of beginner's resources and guides for setting up
networks and Internet servers using Macintoshes. Of particular
interest to anyone looking to hook up with other students or
educators is the International Registry of K12 Schools on the Web,
the world's oldest and largest list of schools with an Internet
presence. You can browse the registry by country and state, then
click on specific school names to connect to that educational
institution. If your school has a Web site to share, and you're
not already listed in this directory, be sure to let the owners of
the page know what you've got to offer!
