The Newbie's Guide to the Net

Whether you're brand new to the Web or have already surfed a bit,
this site will bring you to introductory resources you probably
haven't seen yet. You have a choice of guides in several areas:
sports, music, and the Internet itself. Each is a gateway to a
wealth of links. For example, the Internet guide offers
introductory documents on most aspects of the Net (URL, FTP, Unix,
e-mail, etc.) and also to a survey of Internet tools (Internet
Tour) at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. There are
specific sections for users of all kinds of platforms, FAQs both
serious and humorous, and hypermedia tours. The sports guide will
take you to the home pages of your favorite event, banks of
statistics, schedules, and much more. The music guide is even more
extensive. The site administrator has plans to expand his guides
to include law, medicine, physics, engineering, math, writing,
chemistry, and art. Look for this to become one of the more
popular and useful sites on the Web.
