Historical Maps of Paris

Upon entering this site, you'll come across three links--one for
About Paris Maps, one for 1721-1750, and one for 1861-1870. Click
on either of the latter two headings to enter a much larger file
listing. The images are classified by sections of the city, such
as "overall" and "northeast." There are at least 100 images here;
most are detailed enough to make out buildings, street names, and
other features. All the map details are in French, since these are
images of originals or reprints. These maps illustrate changes in
both map-making over time and the growth of the city, and provide
an informative graphic illustration for any discussion of Paris
from these eras.
