This site, provided by the Genome Informatics Group, includes
members from the University of Maryland-College Park, Texas A&M
University, and the National Agricultural Library. The project is
funded by the US Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research
Service, and National Genetic Resources Program. Databases at the
National Agricultural Library section contain data in the
following areas: Plant Genome, Livestock Animal Genome, Other
Organism Genome, Plant Reference, and Insect Reference. The
databases can be browsed or queried. This site is excellent not
only for the wealth of data it contains, but also for its multiple
