offers a "clickable" world map which lets you zoom in on areas of
interest. Cities, roads, and rivers are not labeled since the
underlying map data contains only line data such as coastlines,
borders, rivers, roads, and not the data or software to add labels
or topographic information. However, there is a link to link to
the Geographic Name Server which allows searches by name, and
returns a Map Viewer page which pinpoints the searched item on the
appropriate map.
