CURARE
======

Founded in May 1991 by Mexico City-based critics and art
historians, Curare is dedicated to the multidisciplinary
investigation of visual culture in Mexico. Sections of this
bilingual (Spanish/English) site include the Curare Archive of
artistsâ files and a contemporary art data bank. Revising the Art
History of Mexico attempts a critical appraisal of Mexican art and
artists apart from the traditional perspective influenced by the
nationalist ideology of the Mexican Revolution of 1910-17.
