Virus Databases On-Line
=======================

The Research School of Biological Sciences, Australian National
University, provides virus databases online. Databases here
include the Classification and Nomenclature of Viruses; the Index
Virum (lists of virus taxa reflecting currently approved ICTV
classifications); Virus Descriptions; and Viruses of Plants in
Australia. Information is presented both as searchable databases
in hypertext prepared for the Web and as ASCII files via FTP at
ANUâ s LIFE BioGopher. Links to related virology Web servers and
gopher sites in Australia, India, South Africa, the U.K., and the
U.S. are also here.
