"This board originally began as the "Chugiak High School
Information Exchange" and operated out of the library of Chugiak
High School. As a high school student in 1984, I worked with the
computer teacher Dick Phelps on developing this board. Mr. Phelps
moved the board to his home a year or so later and it just went by
CHSIE (pronounced CHESSIE) from then on." - Rich
