"Hi, I ran NYOL from around 1983 to 1992. At the time, aside from
the Well, NYOL was the only political BBS around. I ran it
initially on an Apple ][ then moved to a Macintosh in the middle
of 1984. NYOL networked around 35 newsgroups globally. I have
written some history of it for the newsgroup Community Memory.
