"Hunter's Planet (704-209-3158) was my board which I ran on a
single line using the KBBS system under the screen name
"Predator". (I loved those comics and movies more than was
reasonable.) I've long since gone on to military service,
undergraduate college, law school, and active practice, but
getting that thing up and running remains one of my most memorable
accomplishments. Of course this wasn't because of the great
difficulty or insurmountable odds, but just because it was
something tangible that I was so absolutely enamored with at the
time. I've never been so completely immersed in a project before
or since, and doing that work at that time is a point in life that
