"Got my first computer in 93, 486 SX33 IBM clone with a 14.4k
modem. Once I started figuring things out, found the BBS scene and
immediately wanted to be a part of it. Launched "The Weyr" in 94
using Renegade. A year or two later i found iNiQUiTY BBS software
(by Mike Fricker) and after much tinkering relaunched my BBS as
"Futures Imperfect". At some point in there, also created the
HiPNet messaging network. Made some great friends in those days
and I still miss the feeling of community that was part and parcel
