"Wow, did this bring back memories! Megadrive was really a
286/10MHz system with an astounding 104MB of hard drive space.
Back in the day, a system like that was pretty powerful. 386's
hadn't quite hit the market and memory expansion came in the form
of big ISA cards with socketed DIP chips. Megadrive had a 2400bps
modem (pretty darned fast for the time) and was one of the most
popular BBS's in Rhode Island. We had users from as far away as
Russia and Australia! The BBS ran RBBS software because it was
free. In 1991, we packed up shop and moved to San Diego where the
BBS was reborn as Sleepless Nights..." - Drew Dunn
