       This is a collection of emails written by my father to my first 
       child, beginning before she was born. Eventually, after my other
       kids were born, and then my sisters', he started addressing all 
       of them. It eventually petered out, but for a while it was pretty
       good, and some of it still makes me come over all verklempt.
