| Well, it either ain't APS-C or it ain't 35mm.. "35mm equiv F2
| lens" is by it's very definition, not 35mm.
|
| That said, I see they stuffed some AI and gimmick filters in
| there. It seems like a very uninteresting camera.

| Sounds like everything else from everyone else. My EOS R5 does
| animal facial/eye recognition as much as human, and it's a bit
| of a leap to go from "emphasize focal points on subjects when
| you've asked to prioritize those subjects" as "AI gimmicks".
|
| The "gimmick filters" are nothing new for Fuji, which has
| offered its optional film simulations for most of the X100
| range.
|
| I have no dog in this fight (currently I own an R5, a Leica
| Q2), but latching on to this as "very uninteresting" while
| studiously ignoring IBIS and a 50% resolution bump to complain
| about optional filters seems a little ... bitter.

| You are mistaking the sensor size 35mm with lens focal length
| 35mm. The lens itself is 23mm. The camera has APS-C sensor. The
| full frame (35mm sensor size) equivalent of the lens+sensor
| combination is 35mm.

| The main challenge for those interested is going to be finding
| one. They're sold out everywhere and are selling for well over
| $2,500 on eBay. Your best bet is probably to place your order now
| and sit tight for a while
