| PHOSPHOR (http://phosphor.co/20x) has been reverse-engineering
| ISDA, which financial historians refer to as "the greatest
| success story in modern economic history" due to ISDA's ability
| to drive standardization into financial contracts which enabled
| their markets to grow 1200x.
|
| We're doing this in the internet age by modeling Github as the
| center of the open source world. But to build something like
| Github, we had to build languages, version control, IDEs, and
| infrastructure for contracts and financial models (the backbones
| of every asset class in finance) to make them computable and
| connectable.
|
| I've been building Phosphor for over three years as both CEO and

| how/where we innovate, etc, I need someone experienced to take
| the reins and help me grow this company into the ridiculous

| as speed is a UX problem, you've learned systems languages -
| You're excited by the emergence that occurs when AI is applied
| against observable systems - You're excited to - You're a
| polyglot, and maybe frustrated that functional languages aren't
| the norm - You have an expansive model of the world, and the idea
| of consolidating these skills to create extraordinary real-world
| impact excites you - You're deeply technical, but have also built
| capable teams
|
| What you'll do: - Build one of the most unique products in
| finance - Inherit a three year old, thoughtfully architected,
| event-driven application with only minor tech debt - Build a 5-10
| person engineering team - Kick off/manage all of the bits and
| pieces that go into such a ridiculous endeavor
|
| This is a very hard technical problem at every level (low level
| up through design) which we've made extraordinary progress
| towards.
|
| We have traction and investment from leaders in clean energy
| finance (where I built one of the leading solar platforms as
| first hire), real estate, and more.
|
| To apply, email oliver@phosphor.co with "CTO position" in the
| title. Include a PDF of your resume, links to LinkedIn/GH, and
| lay some bullets that point to awesome you've done or built

| Cheers.

| This is very very very interesting work. I had a similar

| and creating the same type of standardization you describe.
|
| Then I got severely discouraged by every single lawyer friend I

| * Manifesto Manufacturing is important. It's the fundamental
| industry on which everything else is built. We take it for
| granted. In 1989, 35% of the entire software industry was
| manufacturing systems. Back then, services, hand holding,
| customization, and consulting were necessary to get the systems
| to where they are today. What was the first massive burst in
| productivity from technology has stagnated into incremental
| diminishing returns and exponentially increasing complexity. We
| can only continue to add complexity for so much longer until the
| whole system collapses. "Any intelligent fool can make things
| bigger and more complex. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of
| courage to move in the opposite direction." Manufacturing is
| important. We must deliver a touch of technological genius to
| reintroduce simplicity, efficiency, and integration.

| We have several openings available but are primarily looking for
| strong technical generalists who want to help us democratize
| computer vision and like to wear many hats and have an outsized
| impact. Our engineering culture is built on a foundation of
| autonomy & we don't consider an engineer fully ramped until they
| can "choose their own loss function". At Roboflow, engineers
| aren't just responsible for building things but also for helping
| us figure out what we should build next. We're builders & problem
| solvers; not just coders. (For this reason we also especially
| love hiring past and future founders.)
|
| We're currently hiring full-stack engineers for our ML and web
| platform teams, a web developer to bridge our product and
| marketing teams, several technical roles on the sales & field
| engineering teams, and our first applied machine learning
| researcher to help push forward the state of the art in computer

| Graphistry is a Gartner-awarded visual graph AI startup used by
| enterprise, tech, & government teams around the world for data-
| intensive investigations into digital attacks, fraud, supply
| chains, misinformation, and more. Originally spinning out of UC
| Berkeley, we are known for large-scale visualizations that
| connect GPUs in the cloud to GPUs in the browsers, and helped
| start the popular data science technologies of what is now Apache
| Arrow and Nvidia RAPIDS. The last few years have marked year-
| over-year revenue multiples & team growth entirely on customer
| revenue growth, no VC needed. We're still small and launching
| Louie.AI, so it's an exciting & impactful time!
|
| We recently launched our genAI-first rethinking of the
| investigation experience. Our analytics environment spans genAI
| notebooks, AI dashboarding, automation, & APIs, and help analysts
| work individually and in teams in a highly interactive,
| collaborative, and continuously improving system of intelligence.
| Louie helps teams generate and manage queries, GPU visual
| analytics, cases, knowledge, & data science flows. As Louie
| learns from the interactions, Louie grows from being the helpful
| copilot for investigations to being the intelligent pipelines
| powering their automations.
|
| We are looking for help in a few areas:
|
| * Cybersecurity (US, Full-time): Principal researcher + principal
| architect to work with our community and top customers like top
| gov agencies, banks, etc in bringing generative AI to their
| investigation practices. You'll partner directly with our CEO,
| head of AI, head of technical sales, partners like Nvidia &

| This role can go in multiple directions, such as starting &
| leading multimillion dollar security AI projects, going deeper
| into broader intelligence & crime areas, focusing on areas like
| Splunk integrations, and devrel/community. Due to government
| interest, S/TS clearance is helpful, as is experience in FYES,

| alternative backgrounds, such as coming out of a SOC at Tier 2 /
| 3 levels, and being engaged in blue team community & OSS. You

| In addition to launching more advanced drones, we're also
