| I highly recommend Rnote to anyone on Linux that misses the
| "hodgepodge" notetaking of apps like OneNote. It works like a
| dream on touchscreens and drawing tablets, with a surprising
| amount of configuration available for those who need it.
|
| Also worth noting is Xournal, an older but similar project:

| Any suggestions for an Android app that easily exports to PDF?
| I would like the file format to be vector internally, but
| backup weekly to PDF.

| Haven't tried it, but I did stumble across this while
| searching for Xournal: https://github.com/saber-notes/saber
|
| Edit: just tried it, tap-and-hold on a note brings up a share
| menu that lets you select PDF. Hopefully that helps!

| Thank you for sharing this! I've been searching for a
| _good_ open-source handwriting app with pen and pdf support
| on android, and this is by far the most functional I 've
| seen. Actually good enough to start taking notes on my
| tablet.

| Please note that the original app was Xournal [1]. The one you
| link is a rewrite of the orignal (in C++) and is called
| Xournal++.

| This is great to see another cross-platform native"local install"
| app. I am sick of webapps.

| Great application when used with a display tablet. Lacks
| handwriting recognition, though.
